Processing & Preparation

  • All artworks are ready-made and prepared for dispatch immediately.
  • However, due to export documentation and licensing requirements, shipping cannot begin instantly.
  • Please allow 3–5 business days for preparation of export papers before dispatch.

Estimated Delivery Times

  • European Union: 5–15 days after dispatch.
  • United States: Delivery times vary; typically 10–20 business days after dispatch.
  • Rest of the World: Delivery may take longer depending on local customs procedures.

  • 🇪🇺 European Union

    • Customs duties: Original artworks (paintings, drawings, sculptures) are duty‑free.
    • VAT: Buyers must pay reduced VAT (usually 5–7%, depending on the country).
      • France: 5.5%
      • Germany: 7%
      • Italy: 5%
      • Spain: 10% (slightly higher)
    • UNITED STATES
    • Payment process: Couriers (DHL, FedEx, UPS) act as customs brokers. They advance VAT to customs and then charge the buyer before delivery.
    • Note: VAT is calculated on artwork value + shipping + insurance.
    • 🇺🇸 United States

      • Customs duties: Original artworks are duty‑free under U.S. tariff codes.
      • Customs clearance:
        • Shipments under $2,500 → informal entry (simpler paperwork).
        • Shipments over $2,500 → formal entry via customs broker (courier handles this).
      • Taxes: No federal VAT. Buyers may owe state sales tax depending on where they live.
      • Payment process: Courier clears customs, buyer pays any applicable state tax at point of sale (not at import).
      • Rest of the World

        • Customs duties & taxes: Vary by country. Some apply reduced VAT or GST on art, others exempt original artworks.
        • Payment process: Courier (DHL, FedEx, UPS) handles customs clearance and collects duties/taxes from the buyer before delivery.
        • Important: Buyers should check local import rules for artworks to avoid surprises.
